Temple Beth Emet is as active as ever. We may be small, but we're mighty! See what we've been up to lately.
You know that Temple Beth Emet was the first Conservative Synagogue in Orange County, and it is celebrating its 70th Anniversary.
But, did you know …..
TBE has Shabbat Services every Saturday morning with Rabbi, Cantor, and minyanim. And with a Kiddush lunch.
On the first Shabbat of every month, Early Torah Study (with a light breakfast) before services.
Services for High Holidays, Pesach Seders, Purim, Simchat Torah and all other Jewish Holidays.
Monthly Friday night services with dinner and speaker.
Live streaming of Temple services for those who can not attend in person.
A Chesed Fund to provide support for people in need.
An Endowment Fund was created with Jewish Federation sponsoring Jewish OC teens for Jewish experiences and Jewish camps.
Over 175 grants were made to Jewish OC teen recipients this year alone.
We organized and funded the purchase of an ambulance in Israel
currently serving with Magen David Adom (MDA) in Israel.
Continuing fundraising to support ongoing needs for ambulance
supplies.
We sell cemetery plots.
Bingo, Mah Jongg, and Mexican Train player groups.
