"Late Mass" for Kol Nidre
Mom Sherri talk for Margalit Moskowitz for years in the Hebrew school. And we last saw Margalit last July, at the Shiva Minyan for my Mom. Though Margalit looked very frail, it was good to catch up with her a little bit.
Sandra Alhadeff Gumbiner
My parents were Francis and Louis Alhadeff. We were the original people involved in the temple. I was the first confirmation in the temple along with miss Salmon we started I was one of the ones who started the youth group and we had a very good turnout for the first turn out. my brother, Jerry, Ahadeff. Was bar mitzvah at the temple.

My parents, Ira and Fortunette Richard, were founding members of Temple Beth Emet. My sister was one of the first babies named in its sanctuary. I can just as easily recall the Emily St synagogue as I can the dedication of the current synagogue. One of my fondest memories is trying to guess which version of Adon Olam Cantor Moddel would lead us in on Shabbat. Another is of my first steady boyfriend, Alex Poland (may he rest in peace), and my second, Peter Hayman. I am having surgery and will be unable to attend the reunion but wish you all the best on this important simcha.

Mazel Tov, Temple Beth Emet on reaching this wonderful milestone! May the Jewish community continue to grow and flourish in Anaheim.
Our family joined TBE in 1980 before my older brother, Adam had his Bar Mitzvah. Our family became active members of the synagogue from that point on. My parents, Martin and Helen Torem, OBM, were very active in the Synagogue's Men's Club and Sisterhood and my siblings and I were active in USY and Hebrew School throughout our teenage years. My parents were frequent members of the congregation up until their passing. My parents are buried in the Temple Beth Emet section of the cemetery in Costa Mesa, CA.
I personally have so many fond memories of my time at TBE. Having my Bat Mitzvah in 1985, being an active member of USY, attending the Hebrew School and attending Friday Night, Shabbat and High Holiday services until I moved to the San Fernando Valley for college in 1995.
I relocated to Seattle, WA 25 years ago and I am still in contact with many friends from TBE on FB. It has been so wonderful to see where all our paths have taken us.
Thank you, Temple Beth Emet for so many memorable years of Jewish education and life experiences. I will always cherish my time spent there with family and friends.

It's hard to believe our two cherished years at Temple Beth Emet were half a century ago! But they were our first years as rabbi and rebbitzen and couldn't have been a better launching pad for our future! Thanks for the memories!
